Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings



4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (chicken can be partially frozen)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can approx chicken broth
1/2-1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 grands flaky refrigerator biscuits

 
Put chicken in crock pot. Add butter, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onions and parsley.

Cook on high 4-6 hours.
After cooking time, use a fork to break the chicken into pieces.

Cut each biscuit into 9 pieces., tic-tac-toe style. Stir pieces into crock pot and cook for 45 more minutes. Add more chicken broth as necessary.

I made this twice in one week. It was terrific.
